An SUV And Crossover Crash On Manchester Street In Concord: Watch

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to Manchester Street and Old Turnpike Road for a crash on Wednesday.

Just before 8:15 p.m., dispatchers began receiving calls about a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection with injuries. Multiple officers and firefighters were sent to the area.

When they arrived, they found two SUVs, a Saturn and a Chevrolet Trax crossover, had crashed, one apparently rear-ending the other. Firefighters requested EMTs to the scene. The left turn lane onto Old Turnpike Road was shut down while police attempted to move other vehicles through the intersection. Later, the entire intersection was closed off.

EMTs evaluated both drivers and they were medically cleared. Ambulance 4 left the scene while firefighters from Engine 4 stayed there for a bit longer.

The vehicles were towed from the scene later.
