SUV Rollover Reported On North Pembroke Road: Watch

Pembroke police, firefighters, and Concord EMTs were sent to the area of the road's intersection with Borough Road for a rollover on Sunday.

PEMBROKE, NH — Police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a rollover crash a bit over the town line with Concord on Sunday.

Just before 8:15 p.m., the Capital Area Mutual Aid Fire Compact received a call about a rollover crash involving an SUV in the area of North Pembroke Road and Borough Road. Dispatch sent Pembroke firefighters and Concord EMTs to the scene. The driver, dispatch said, appeared to be unconscious.

Firefighters reported “multiple roads, at this point,” were washed out all around the area. Transportation officials were also sent to several roads, accessing damage from heavy rain earlier in the evening.

After firefighters confirmed they were heading to the scene, dispatch said the driver was out of the vehicle but not alert and may have had a leg or foot injury.

Pembroke police and firefighters arrived at the scene and blocked the road to traffic. One person was prepared for transport to Concord Hospital and taken later. The road stayed closed until the vehicle was removed.
