SUV Rolls, Tree-Cutting Truck Crashes Into Store In Concord
Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a rollover and truck crash near Rufo Square on Tuesday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a two-vehicle crash on North State Street, which closed the road to traffic for a short period on Tuesday.
Around 7:30 a.m., police began receiving calls about a rollover on North State Street, just off Rufo Square near the cemetery. The SUV, a Hyundai, was blocking both lanes of the street after turning from Rumford Street, witnesses stated.
Later, dispatch reported a truck had also driven into a building. The truck was a tree-cutting rig owned by Asplundh. The building was the new location of Granite State Naturals, previously the old Moose Lodge. The Asplundh truck also clipped the porch of a North State Street home before driving into the store.

Police closed off North State Street at Penacook and Rumford streets and directed traffic around the crash area.
A few minutes after the call came in, a second ambulance was requested.

Firefighters inspected the buildings and reported minor damage. They also checked the drivers for medical issues and then, cleared the call.
Patch readers on Facebook stated traffic was backed up past the Second Start school on North State Street.
The SUV was quickly removed and traffic resumed.
Troop G New Hampshire State Police troopers were also requested to the scene due to the truck being a commercial vehicle.
