SUVs Crashing On Interstate 93 In Concord Snarl Southbound Traffic
Concord fire and rescue teams, New Hampshire State Police were sent to a crash between Exit 15 and 14 on Friday afternoon.
CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 in Concord on Friday afternoon.
Around 3:15 p.m., dispatchers with Concord fire and state police started receiving reports of a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound side of the highway just before Exit 14. State troopers and Concord fire and rescue teams headed to the area.
The first arriving first responder reported an SUV with damage on the southbound side of the highway and a second SUV facing the wrong way near the mouth of the I-393 eastbound Exit 15 offramp. A second trooper and firefighters arrived and confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The high-speed lane of the Interstate was shut down.
Troopers stated it appeared there were two separate crashes, with a damaged vehicle also located near Exit 13 on the southbound side. Another trooper went to the Exit 13 area to check on the vehicle but could not find it.

Later, troopers determined the crash involved a Lexus, with a driver from Massachusetts, and a Hyundai, but not a vehicle at Exit 13.
Concord fire dispatch reported three patient refusals around 3:45 p.m. The Tower truck and Engine remained on scene for safety blocking in the high-speed lane.
Tow trucks were requested to the scene.
