Teamsters Union Local 633 Testifies at Right to Work Hearing
Teamsters Union Local 633 Urges New Hampshire Legislature to Reject "Damaging" Right to Work Legislation
The following is a statement from Jeffrey Padellaro, Secretary-Treasurer and Principal Officer of Teamsters Union Local 633, regarding today’s right to work hearing in New Hampshire:
“Teamsters Union Local 633 is strongly opposed to this Right to Work legislation, an ill-conceived bill that will drive down wages and threaten economic growth in the state. New Hampshire has the lowest unemployment rate in the nation and this bill will do nothing to address our state’s biggest economic challenge: helping companies attract enough workers to fill thousands of current job openings. Instead, this Right to Work bill uses the false promise of economic growth to weaken organized labor and hurt the middle class. We hope the House will reject this damaging legislation.”
