Technical Glitches Cause Issues With Cards At Hannaford Supermarkets
Reports: Some of the company's grocery stores and pharmacies cannot accept credit, debit, and EBT cards; its website is also down.

CONCORD, NH — If you plan on going shopping at Hannaford Supermarkets in the near future, you better bring cash.
According to reports online, the company is working to resolve computer networking issues that have been down for at least the last 48 hours. Access to purchase items via credit or debit cards, as well as EBT cards, has been limited. The company’s website is also down.
A spokesperson told WMTW-TV news in Maine Hannaford To Go orders were not being processed, and customers were contacted about the issues. Pending transactions should be cleared within a few days.

In a post on its Facebook feed, the company said, “We’re working diligently to resolve any remaining issues, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.”
The company has stores throughout northern New England and New York. Hannaford has locations in New Hampshire in Alton, Bedford, Center Ossipee, Concord, Derry, Dover, Durham, Lee, Manchester, and other locations.
