Teen Arrested with Cash, Pot

Police allege that Corey Fifield had 172 grams of marijuana.

Concord Police arrested a local teen last week on multiple charges, including a felony possession of controlled drugs charge.

Corey Taylor Fifield, 19, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 28, and charged with two counts of possession of controlled drugs, one a felony, and unlawful possession of alcohol. He was arrested at 2:15 a.m. on 80 Broadway.

Police allege that Fifield was in possession of 172 grams of marijuana and another undisclosed amount of marijuana.

As evidence, police seized a Crown Royal bag full of sandwich bags, a Blade digital scale, other plastic bags, and $342 in cash.

Personal recognizance bail was set at $13,000.

Fifield is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 3.

This isn’t the first time Fifield has had run-ins with the police.

In September 2011, he was arrested on two counts of unlawful possession of alcohol and in December 2011, Fifield was charged with resisting arrest or detention and unlawful possession of alcohol.
