Teen from Congo Faces Charges

Man booked on drug, trespassing, resisting, and other alleged incidents.

A Loudon Road teenager faces multiple charges after a string of arrests during the month of August.

Nyabuguye Tembasi, 19, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 2, and Aug. 17, and charged with many different offenses, based on different cases during July and August.

At around 10 a.m. on Aug. 2, the teen, who was originally born in Congo, according to an arrest report, was charged with possession of controlled drugs while hanging out at the Sun Bright Coin Operated Laundry at Loudon Road. Police allege that he was in possession of marijuana and a package of Zig Zag wraps at the time of his arrest.

Two weeks later, Tembasi was arrested at the Royal Concord Gardens apartment complex. At 1:13 a.m., he was charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest, and default or breach of bail conditions. A few minutes later, police hit Tembasi with two counts of criminal trespass. Those charges stem from alleged incidents at 17 Concord Gardens on Aug. 2, and 24 Concord Gardens on July 29.

As evidence in the case, police submitted photo line up identification from two witnesses, according to an arrest report.

Tembasi refused bail and had a court date on Aug. 17.
