Teen Overdose at Concord Burger King Leads to Charge
Police arrest Alexis Regan for felony drug possession after she was allegedly "chasing the dragon" in the restaurant bathroom.

A local teen was arrested last month on a drug charge after an overdose in the bathroom of the Burger King on Loudon Road, according to a report.
Alexis N. Regan, 19, of Parmenter Road in Concord, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. on March 16, 2015, and charged with felony possession of a controlled drug.
At a little past midnight, officers and Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the restaurant for a report of an overdose from heroin inside one of the bathrooms, according to a report.

When police arrived, the subject’s friend greeted the officers in the parking lot and told them that she reportedly found her passed out when she went to use the restroom. The woman, later identified as Regan, was up, walking around, and behind a service counter, when officers walked into the restaurant. The reporting officer asked her to come sit in the dining area and she agreed. Her shirt was “completely soaked” from her friend attempting to revive her with cold water, according to the report.
“Ms. Regan was crying the entire time we were waiting for the Fire Department,” the officer alleged, “so I was unable to ask her many questions.”

After EMTs arrived, the reporting officer went into the restroom and found a black jacket below the sink. Near the jacket, the officer allegedly found a visor, black belt, and a small piece of tinfoil.
“Upon closer examination of the tinfoil, I noticed a darkened area, where it looked as if it had been burnt,” he alleged.
When he turned the tinfoil over, he allegedly found “a dark brown trail of a substance, which is believed to be heroin residue.” The officer said he wasn’t surprised by this and surmised that Regan was allegedly “chasing the dragon” in order to get high.
The officer spoke to Regan again and she was transported to Concord Hospital. After she was medically cleared, she was arrested.
A field test of the residue came back inconclusive so it was sent to the New Hampshire State Police Forensics Lab for proper analysis, according to the report.
Regan is due in court on April 27.
