State troopers from Troop D in Concord were sent to Franklin Police with a home invasion case.
According to a press statement, at around 8 a.m., police went to a suspicious male call on Nelson Street and found a man with a leg injury and head trauma. Police quickly learned that he was the victim of a reported armed home invasion on Plains Court. The victim was interviewed and transported to Franklin Regional Hospital and later, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center due to the seriousness of the injuries.

A K-9 unit was called in and troopers began searching the area for suspects — three men and a woman — who were reportedly involved in the incident.
“It is alleged that they entered the victim’s residence with firearms and threatened him,” according to Sgt. Ron Taylor of the NHSP. “It is believed the victim escaped and fled from the residence.”
Investigators later learned that the suspects fled in a maroon pickup truck with a New Hampshire temporary plate. A BOLO (be-on-the-lookout) call was issued for the vehicle, and about an hour and 20 minutes later, a truck matching the description was seen on Route 11 in East Andover.
The state trooper stopped the vehicle and called for backup, suspecting that the passengers might be armed.
Troopers, Franklin Police, and Andover Police showed up to assist and arrested the trio.
“Numerous weapons were observed inside the vehicle,” Taylore noted, adding that pickup was stolen from Boscawen on Dec. 19.
They were held on $30,000 cash each defendant and will be arraigned in 6th Circuit Court-Franklin District later today.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact TFC Eric Shirley (New Hampshire State Police) at 603-223-4381 or Officer Jonathan Ciavola (Franklin Police Department) at 603-934-2535.
