The State of the Route 3 Project

Work continues this week on the Route 3 corridor project.

According to City Manager Tom Aspell, contractors will now focus on the installation of guard rails, granite curbing, and sidewalk construction. This week, the work will be done near the Hood plant, from Dolan Street to the General Service Dept. building.

Commuters should expect traffic delays.

Other paving will continue on Elm, Rockingham, Badger, Blake, and Springfield streets, along with Thayer Pond Road.

Penacook residents should expect some minor inconveniences next week on Community Drive, Steeple View, and Cross, Summer, Shaw, and High streets, as part of the water main cleaning and lining project that is taking place this week.
