The Works Bakery Cafe in Concord Upgrading Security
Debit, credit card attack occurred a couple of weeks ago.

The Works Bakery Café on North Main Street is stepping up security efforts after a report of a data breach involving customer credit and debit card information, according to WMUR-TV.
Don Brueggemann, a former state representative from Concord who manages the bagel shop, said the company was cooperating with investigators looking into the incident which occurred in the middle of January.
Brueggemann said changes like new hard drives and anti-virus software had been installed to thwart future efforts.

It is unknown how many customers were harmed by the attack.
The café chain also has locations in Durham and Portsmouth, as well as Maine and Vermont.
