The Professional Firefighters of Concord, NH - Local 1045 posted this shot on Facebook at just before 10 a.m. running by Exit 13. Mike Sweeney took this photo at just after 9:30 a.m. near the Comfort Inn.

Bear sightings on June 8, in the South End and at Rundlett Middle School prompted the school to cancel outdoor activities.

Experts say that if you see the moose, create distance between yourself and the animal. If it is acting aggressively, back off and run, try to hide behind a tree or fence, or curl up in a ball. Don’t get up or leave the area until the moose is a good distance away.
