The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The middle school issue. I attend school board meetings and intend to see the school board honor their commitment to post the voter proposals on the November ballot.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I will meet and listen to my constituents. I come in with a fresh perspective and a focus-forward mindset. Pre-existing obligations and allegiances do not come with me. I can vote what I think is in the best interest of the voters and am not obligated to vote " the party line."
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform:
I will continue my career-long advocacy for first responders, get to know and work with legislators of all parties, strive to find solutions that do not increase taxes, continue to support programs that make New Hampshire pro-business and thus benefit our economy and labor force, support reasonable ecological programs that meet previous criteria and do not put people out of work
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this position?
1) While on the New Hampshire Board of nursing. I worked with others to insert pain management into the scope of practice for nurses enabling them to better provide comfort and alleviate suffering.
2) We also run a small business in NH
The best advice ever shared with me was…
Our democracy is not a spectator sport!
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I had polio as it child and was cared for by people I did not know, morning, noon and night. This search is a lifelong template service to others. During my career in anesthesia when patient got in trouble. The first call always went out to anesthesia. The indelible message was; when there's crisis -You run toward the trouble and do what you can. My country is in trouble and which is why I am running for office to do what I can.
