Thousands Being Raised to Help Family of Injured Teen

Parker Taylor of Concord was injured in New York earlier while ATVing. A YouCaring fundraising effort is underway to assist with expenses.

CONCORD, NH — Family and friends of a local teen who was injured in an ATV accident are raising money to help the family offset medical and travel expenses while he is being cared for, according to a YouCaring.com post.

Parker Taylor, 14, was injured earlier this month in New York while ATVing and has had a number of surgeries to fix the wound which required rods and pins to be installed in his legs. The teen was transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital last week for more medical work and to be closer to home.

Family and friends have raised nearly half of the $5,000 YouCaring fundraising goal, according to a post online, from more than 240 donors.
