Thunderstorm Risk Issued for NH

The National Weather Service is warning of potential thunderstorm activity this afternoon, evening.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service is alerting weather watchers across the Granite State that there is a potential for “severe thunderstorms” across New Hampshire, according to a post on Facebook. According to the forecast for the central part of the Granite State, there’s a 30 to 50 percent chance of showers beginning sometime after 3 p.m. and then again, between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.

In the southern part of the state, rain is expected sometime after 4 p.m. and then again after 10 p.m.
