Thunderstorms Coming to Parts of NH

The National Weather Service issues a hazardous weather outlook for this afternoon; expect storms tomorrow, too.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the afternoon of June 28, 2016, as scattered thunderstorms from New York head into the region, according to alerts online.

The alert is for central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.

“Thunderstorms will move into NH late this afternoon and shift into interior Maine this evening,” according to the NWS alert issued this morning. “A few of these storms may produce strong gusty winds and very heavy rain.”

After this stretch of storms passes, another one is expected to hit the state on Wednesday. The NWS suggests that these storms will also offer “gusty winds and heavy rain” according to the alert.
