According to a court affidavit, an officer was assigned to investigate a possible past tense domestic assault involving a woman and a teenage relative that occurred on Dec. 2.

A teen reportedly posted a note on Facebook with a picture of her bloody face and accused Vrusho of the assault. A local state representative saw the post and informed authorities about the incident.

The officer called the victim and found out that the alleged assault occurred in Pittsfield and she agreed to come in and speak with the officer about a restraining order. The officer also checked Facebook and saw the picture posted at around 9 p.m. “(Vrusho) thinks its (sic) okay to kick me in the face & make my whole mouth bleed…” A previous post, which the state rep saw and forwarded to police, had been taken down.

The officer also looked into past issues at the residence and found that police had arrested Vrusho for assault on Nov. 30, 2015, after the victim had posted a note on Facebook asking someone to call 911 for her. The victim was found unconscious after police arrived and Pittsfield Fire and Rescue teams had to perform a force entry in order to get access to the victim.

Vrusho was later taken to the Merrimack County House of Corrections where she was held for protective custody. An officer then went to the jail and arrested her. She was due to be in court on Jan. 8, 2016.

The officer filed a probable cause affidavit on Dec. 3, 2015, and Vrusho was arrested two days later and held.
