Town Of Bow: Driver Laborer In The Public Works Department

The Town of Bow, NH is looking for qualified applicants for the full-time position of Driver Laborer in the Public Works Department. Responsibilities will include the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks, use of common hand tools, manual labor, and various road projects. Must be available 24 hours per day to meet emergency situations, including snow plowing, snow removal, treatment to Town roads and other seasonal or emergency clean-up operations.

High school diploma or GED and three-year minimum driving experience. CDL-B license with Air Brake endorsement needed: CDL-A is preferred. Pay range: $22.22/hour to $27.06/hour. Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement plan, life and disability insurance and vacation and sick leave.

The finalist must complete a criminal background check and supply a current copy of their Motor Vehicle History. Pre-employment physical and substance testing is also needed.
