See the latest announcement from the Town of Bow.

(Patch Graphic)

Funding from the NHDOT bridge aid program will cover 80% of the cost ($1,110,000) and the Town’s obligation is 20% ($277,500). The Town’s share will be withdrawn from the Bridge and Highway Capital Reserve Fund.

The existing bridge was built in 1950 and it is currently on the NHDOT Municipal Bridge “Red List” due to its deficiencies and condition, including rusting and significant settlement and movement to the outlet stone headwall and wingwalls.
