Tractor-Trailer Hits NHSP Cruiser on I-89
The trooper received minor injuries in the crash. State Police are asking for the public's help after trucker with Canadian plates fled.

New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the operator of a tractor-trailer truck that struck and state police cruiser earlier tonight and then fled the scene.
According to NHSP, at around 6 p.m., a state trooper was stopped on the side of the road on I-89 southbound in Warner, assisting a motorist who gone off the road.
The trooper had the cruiser’s emergency lights turned and was in the cruiser when a tractor-trailer struck the cruiser. The truck driver, who was reportedly traveling too fast for the conditions, tried to slow and the trailer veered to the right and struck the trooper’s car.

The impact propelled the car 283 feet and it came to rest in the median off the right side of the road. The trooper was transported to the Concord Hospital for minor injuries. The truck driver, after striking the cruiser, pulled to the side of the road. He then fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle was reported to have a dark colored cab, possibly with a sleeper. The trailer was reported to be a white box type trailer with a Canadian registration plate.
