Update: Part of I-93 North is closed as firefighters and New Hampshire State Police investigate a truck rollover and fire at Exit 17 Monday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters and New Hampshire State Police were busy Monday dealing with a tractor-trailer rollover on the northbound side of Interstate 93 at the Concord-Canterbury line. Around 10:45 a.m., fire dispatch reported a rolled truck was on fire between Exits 16 and 17. Later, firefighters learned the crash was just north of Exit 17 and had dispatch notified Canterbury that they were north of the Exit 17 north onramp, right on the line with Penacook.
The first arriving firefighters found a driver with minor injuries and smoke coming from the truck. The driver, a 55-year-old man from Chelsea, Massachusetts, was taken later to Concord Hospital.
An additional tanker from Bow was called by dispatch to assist.
