Truck Rollover Closes South Main Street

WATCH: Concord Police and Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the southern part of the city for a crash on Saturday afternoon.

CONCORD, NH — Parts of South Main Street a closed after a tractor-trailer rollover crash this afternoon. The crash was reported at around 12:45 p.m. on June 10, 2017, on the I-93 Exit 12 overpass. The driver was OK, according to EMTs. Police opened up the southbound lane at around 1:30 p.m. A wrecker was expected to be on the scene in 30 minutes.

Police, however, reported at around 1:15 p.m. that they expected the road to be closed for a number of hours to clean up the scene and remove the truck, according to scanner chatter.

It's unknown at post time why the crash occurred but according to pavement markings, the truck appeared to have either badly navigated the Exit 12 off-ramp from the southbound side of I-93 or have been driving too quickly while making the turn onto South Main from the off-ramp.
