CONCORD, NH — A random sneeze by a truck driver on Wednesday caused a fiery crash and injured one, according to the New Hampshire State Police. A little before 11:15 a.m. this morning, state troopers were called to the northbound side of I-93 in New Hampton for a report of a crash and fire involving two tractor-trailer units. When they arrived, both the trucks were in flames, according to Sgt. Maurice Sampson of Troop D.

After investigating the incident, state police found that one of the trucks was in the right breakdown lane of the Interstate when another truck – a 2017 International owned by Division TM Transport of Thetford Mines, Quebec – approached the area. The driver, a 61-year-old man from Windsor, Quebec, "sneezed and veered across the fog line, striking the disabled truck," Sampson stated.
