Two Injured After Crash on Mountain Road
Motorcycle rider, teen passenger sent to Dartmouth with serious injuries; the road was closed for a number of hours.

Concord Police and Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to a serious accident earlier today on Mountain Road near Farmwood Road, the police have confirmed.
The accident between a car and a motorcycle occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on June 6, 2015.
Lt. Joe Wright, a watch commander for the Concord Police Department, said the driver was a man who is 36-year-old and the passenger was a 13-year-old. The man was medflighted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover with serious injuries. The teen was driven to Hanover to be treated, according to Wright.

According to a family member who posted a comment on Facebook, the driver is in a coma with “very severe injuries” and the teen has “multiple injuries.” She added that they are fighting for their lives right now and the teen almost died in the crash, according to the post.
Two occupants in the car were uninjured.

The road was closed off for a number of hours while investigators gathered information about the accident and cleared the scene.
Wright said the incident is under investigation and police would have more details available tomorrow or Monday.
