Two from Mass. Bagged for Speeding

NHSP arrest Bowen Chen and Xingchao Li while allegedly traveling together on I-93 north.

ASHLAND, NH - Two Massachusetts men are due in court in March after allegedly getting caught speeding over 100 mph on I-93 north this morning, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Bowen Chen, 23, pictured left, of Malden, MA, and Xingchao Li, 25, of Boston, MA, were arrested on Jan. 30, 2015, and charged with reckless operation.

According to NHSP, troopers from Troop F were conducting motor vehicle enforcement on I-93 north in Ashland this morning when they tracked two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed.

Chen was allegedly driving a 2009 Mercedes ML350 and Li was driving a 2011 Infinity G37 and they were traveling along the highway together, according to Sgt. Dennis Wade of Troop F. Both vehicles were clocked at 102 mph in a 70 mph speed limit zone and stopped.

Both Chen and Li were taken in to custody at just before 9:30 a.m. They are due in Plymouth District Court on March 4.
