Ultralight Plane Crash Reported In Plymouth

Fire and rescue teams were sent to the Pemigewasset River for an aircraft crash.

PLYMOUTH, NH — Firefighters and EMTs in Plymouth worked to retrieve a pilot who crashed their ultralight into the Pemigewasset River on Thursday.

According to alerts on Twitter, first responders were called to the area of the town’s wastewater treatment plant on Old North Main Street around 9 a.m. after hearing about the crash. Ashland EMTs launched a boat into the river to get to the area.

WMUR-TV photographer Joel Wade took a photo, which was posted on Twitter, of firefighters working on the shores of the Pemi to remove the ultralight from the water.
