Unconscious Man, Found On Loudon Road, Taken To Concord Hospital
Concord fire and rescue teams assisted an intoxicated homeless man who was found passed out on the sidewalk near Bridge Street on Monday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were called to North Main Street and Loudon Road on Monday night for a report of a man unconscious on the sidewalk.
The initial call reported to police concerned a man on the sidewalk near the Holiday Inn on North Main Street who was reportedly unconscious. When police arrived, they found the man was actually on the Loudon Road bridge, closer to Bridge Street. The man, the first arriving officer said, was upright and speaking when they arrived.
A New Hampshire State Police trooper also stopped to assist.

Concord fire and rescue teams were requested to assist the man while police spoke with two witnesses. When dispatch heard their names, one said, “OK, let me look into something.” She came back later and said they had no active paperwork but were trespassed from the Holiday Inn.
EMTs cleared the man, known to be homeless in the city, and returned to service.

The man was then taken into protective custody due to liquor consumption and driven to Concord Hospital by police.
