Unknown Man Tried to Pass Stolen Check: Concord Regional Crimeline

Investigators are trying to identify a man who allegedly attempted to defraud a bank and a local woman this month. Do you recognize him?

CONCORD, NH — The Concord Regional Crimeline has issued an alert asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a recent attempted fraud case at a local bank, according to Deputy Chief Keith Mitchell of the Concord Police Department. The crime, according to the alert, allegedly took place on Dec. 5, 2016, at the TD Bank’s North Main Street location.

“The suspect in this incident is a white male and he is accused of attempting to pass a stolen check,” Mitchell alleged. “The victim in this incident resides in Concord and had her checkbook stolen from her home earlier in the day at Horseshoe Pond Place.”

Evidence has been recovered in the case including a video surveillance screenshot from a bank security camera. The public is asked to assist in identifying the man in this screenshot.
