Unlicensed Teen, Clocked Going 118 mph the Wrong Way on I-93, Arrested
Girl allegedly drove a Toyota RAV4 south in the northbound lane from Tilton to the Amoskeag Bridge in Manchester.

The New Hampshire State Police averted what could have been a major accident early this morning after a girl was caught driving at excessive speeds the wrong way in the northbound lane of I-93.
According to a report, troopers were advised of a vehicle that was seen near Exit 20 in Tilton traveling south in the northbound lane of the Interstate.
Troopers caught up with the red Toyota RAV4 near Exit 17 in Concord but the driver refused to stop.

“Troopers continued traveling southbound, parallel to the vehicle, as it increased to speeds of 118 mph,” according to Sgt. K.M. Grealy of the New Hampshire State Police. “The vehicle continued southbound thru the Hooksett Tolls and Troopers from NH State Police State Police Troop B responded to assist. The vehicle continued southbound in the northbound lane on to Interstate 293.”
Troopers deployed spikes near Exit 6, the Amoskeag Bridge exit in Manchester, according to the report. The RAV4 drove across the spike strips, continued a short distance, and then stopped in the area of Exit 4 on I-293.

State troopers then took the driver, a 16-year-old girl who did not have a license, into custody.
