Update on Downtown Project: Concrete Crews Begin to Pour

WATCH: Does the new Downtown Concord project remind you of Paris? One visitor to Concord thinks so.

Here’s an update from the Concord Main Street Project:

Find out what Concord has to say about it’s new downtown! As the weeks wind down the work will be ramping up on Main Street. Next week will be a great example of the elevated work loads as upwards of 10 sub contractors will be present throughout the week working on everything from concrete to granite, bricks, trees and traffic signals.

Beginning Monday, concrete crews will begin pouring sidewalks from Capital Plaza to Pleasant Street, pouring first along building faces. Concrete work will continue throughout the week. Salmon Falls Nursery will be on site all week as well, planting trees and plants between Centre Street and Capital Plaza and granite crews will continue to chip away at City Plaza.
