Elderly Woman Struck on Auburn Street

Woman sustained "serous injuries" in Concord crash; accident still under investigation.

Update, 2:32 p.m. According to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit of the Concord Police Department, an elderly woman was struck and injured on Auburn Street earlier today. She sustained serious injuries and was transported to Concord Hospital.

No one has been charged yet but the accident is still under investigation.

Update, 2:09 p.m. Auburn Street has been re-opened to traffic.

Upper Auburn Street in Concord is closed at this hour between Columbus Avenue and Penacook Street due to a accident investigation. According to police at the scene, a pedestrian was hit by a car earlier today. It is unknown how long the street will be closed.
