Daiquiri Przybyla, the assistant general manager of BAM, said that about 30 people are employed at the store or roughly the same that were employed during the height of business at Borders.

“Concord needs bookstores,” she added. “People in Concord are great readers. It’s going to be a little bit different but I think it’s going to be great. We’ve got such good response from the community. It’s been a nice experience to hear how people missed a bookstore here.”

“We are really excited about being back,” she said. “It’s going to be a really great experience for all of us.”
