Five Republican presidential candidates spoke before the Legislature on Oct. 12, at the invitation of Speaker of the House, William O'Brien.

O’Brien invited all the major candidates running for the Republican nomination, as well as President Barack Obama, to have 10 minutes from the floor of the House.

Georgia businessman gave a rousing speech, receiving cheers from representatives and attendees in the gallery. He touched upon his 999 tax plan and called himself a businessman who was a problem-solver that had never been a politician.
