Visit Alaska for Free, Plus Social Media, Mentoring Help
Here's what's going on in Concord today.

- The sun returns? For a bit. The National Weather Service says expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-60s, with a light breeze. However, showers may return in the evening, with temps down in the low 40s.
- Mentoring help. The Woman’s Club of Concord will host speaker Mary Joyce of The Circle Program, a mentoring program to help girls develop social skills. The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. and is free.
- Build your brand. Graham Gifford hosts a second social media basics class, helping you build your brand, at 6 p.m. at Concord High School. The class is part of the Continuing Education Series and costs $21.
- Visit Alaska. Well, through a travelogue, by Cinematographer Dale Johnson at the Concord City Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Not unlike all Walker Lecture Series, it’s free and open to the public.
- Other stuff. Dustin's Fitness Solutions offers a complimentary circuit training class at noon. The Friends of the Penacook Branch Library hosts a knitting and crochet club meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the branch library on 3 Merrimack St. Rachel Revere, Paul Revere’s wife, appears at the Pierce Manse at 7 p.m. to discuss the other side of the midnight ride.
