Walker School Photo Op - Binnie Media takes down blue notes

Blue Note down for a while

Binnie Media has done a beautiful job rehabilitating the Walker School building and the landscaping is quite appealing. We miss the playground and especially the monkey rings and we're not a fan of the brown satellite dishes out front. Nonetheless the grounds look nice and the building is a prime example of what can happen when we preserve the past in Concord. Too often Concord has been quick to take down our history and put up a parking lot.

At Market Days a former teacher mentioned how the school looks great but she is not a fan of the blue note placed in front of the doorways. Today a crane was there to remove the blue notes! Now is your opportunity to get a photo of Walker School without them.

This will not last long as they are being removed to re-weld them as they failed inspection. If you want to capture the school without the notes I suggest you head over soon.
