Was It a Meteor? A UFO?

Bright light in the sky seen by many on Tuesday night.

Numerous New Hampshire residents reported seeing a reddish-orange light streak through the sky on Tuesday night, according to WMUR, but no one knew quite what it was.

One of those people was Melanie Wilson of Concord, who told WMUR she was driving home from work on Airport Road when she saw the object, which she described as "scary and neat," above her car.

Tiffany Nardino of the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord told the television station the object was most likely a fireball, a bright meteor about the size of a quarter that burned up in the atmosphere.
