WATCH: 'Game of Thrones' Actor Stops by Red River Theatres
Hafthor Bjornsson, the Icelandic strongman from the HBO hit series, is in the Granite State to promote this year's Highland Games.
Hafthor Bjornsson, the 6-foot, 9-inch, 400 lbs. giant from Iceland, who played the role of Gregor Clegane/The Mountain in the fourth and fifth seasons of the HBO hit drama, made a stop in Concord on Sept. 16, 2015, to promote his appearance at The Highland Games this weekend.
The event, which has been held for the last four decades in the Granite State, highlights Scottish culture just before the leaves start to turn. Bjornsson, who is also the winner of Europe’s Strongest Man competition in 2014 and 2015, will be competing during the games.
While in Concord, he posed for pictures with a number of ladies, including staffers at the theatres, and answered questions about his workout routine, diet, and his role as The Mountain.
