The former Concord Theatre on South Main Street is now a performance space with retractable seating for 300 and an intimate lounge area.
CONCORD, NH — The Concord Theatre is no more. Well, it hasn't been, for many years. Now, it is something new and different.
The Bank of New Hampshire Stage held its grand opening on June 24, 2019, with a ribbon cutting and open house. The space features a large stage with seating for around 300 people and a small intimate lounge stage and space upstairs, overlooking South Main Street.

The seating in the main room is retractable to allow for a large dance floor for DJ or other gigs, with standing room only space for 450.

The space cost around $6 million to construct. Programming will be put together by the Capitol Center for the Arts.
