WBIN-TV Announces Multi-Sport Broadcast Schedule

WBIN-TV is pleased to announce that it will broadcast over 25 college sports games during the upcoming season.  WBIN-TV will continue its partnership with the University of New Hampshire and Merrimack College, and expand to include UMASS Lowell. 

WBIN-TV will broadcast 14 games featuring the University of New Hampshire Wildcats including 8 Men’s Hockey games, 2 Women’s Hockey games and 4 Men’s and Women’s Basketball games.

“UNH athletics is thrilled to partner with WBIN-TV once again this season,” Tom Wilkins, Associate Athletic Director for Communications said. “The partnership between WBIN and UNH has been a mutually beneficial over the past three years. WBIN gives us an opportunity to share our outstanding athletic contests as well as remarkable human-interest stories via Inside Wildcat Country. I’m excited to once again bring our high-quality content to WBIN.”

"We are excited to continue our partnership with the University of New Hampshire and bring both men's and women's sports to our viewers for a third consecutive year,” Gerry McGavick, General Manager of WBIN-TV said. “This season our broadcast schedule includes many of their traditional Hockey East rivals along with high-profile opponents such as Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State and Syracuse. We hope Wildcats fans will be tuning in all season long."

WBIN-TV will continue its broadcast partnership with Merrimack College for a third consecutive season. “We are very excited to partner with Merrimack College for our third season of outstanding Hockey East action,” noted McGavick.  “The Warriors are poised to be a top team and WBIN is thrilled to bring the action to our viewers throughout the upcoming campaign.”

WBIN-TV will add UMASS Lowell Men’s Hockey to its airwaves and broadcast 5 games this season.  “We are very pleased to add UMASS-Lowell to our outstanding line-up of college hockey broadcasts this year,” said McGavick.  “The Riverhawks should be one of the top teams in the country and our five games are against high-profile opponents.  It should be an exciting year for our viewers and all UMASS Lowell fans.”

Broadcasts will begin in October 2013 and will air most weekends through February 2014.
