Weare, Deerfield Men Charged in School Street Burglary Case

Two face felony charges after two June incidents.

The Concord Police Department has made two arrests earlier this month in connection with a burglary case in June on School Street.

David Hall, 29, of Deerfield, was arrested on Oct. 3, on a felony burglary charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 10 p.m. on June 9, at the School Street address.

Drew Stocks Wentworth, 29, of Weare, was arrested about 14 hours later, on Oct 4, and charged with a felony burglary charge and a receiving stolen property charge. The charges relate to two alleged incidents at 8 a.m. and 1:23 p.m. on June 7, at the same School Street address.

The home is owned by a family trust controlled by a man from Henniker. The man reportedly did not know Hall or Wentworth.

According to arrest reports, investigators took a DNA swab sample from the outer and inner rim of a coffee cup and a bottle of Ensure, allegedly from Hall, on June 11.

Wentworth refused bail and had a court date on Oct. 4. No court information was available on Hall.

Previously, Hall was arrested on Feb. 2, on South Main Street on numerous drug charges.

Police have been investigating a number of burglaries in the West End area during the summer, according to previous reports.
