West End 2-Car Accident Sends 2 To Concord Hospital: Watch
On Saturday, two sedans crashed at the intersection of Pleasant, South Fruit, and Warren streets near Concord High School.
CONCORD, NH — A two-vehicle accident in the West End on Saturday led to two people being taken to Concord Hospital.
Around 5:15 p.m., Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the intersection of Pleasant, South Fruit, and Warren streets for a report of a crash between a Toyota sedan and a Honda sedan. The initial caller said they did not think there were injuries, but the crash was pretty bad.
When they arrived, they found one car with front-end damage on Pleasant Street near the Irving gas station and another car on the opposite side of the intersection with damage.

The second vehicle drove into the median after being rear-ended.
Police arrived first and began moving other vehicles around the crash area, and more officers were requested to assist with traffic.

Firefighters were requested due to injuries and arrived a few minutes later.
Fire command requested a second ambulance just before 5:30 p.m.
The two ambulances took the drivers to the hospital a few minutes later.
Tow trucks were requested later.
According to scanner chatter, one of the drivers may be connected to a suspicious person and vehicle reported by Concord Hospital. Hospital security reported a man entered the emergency room, made random, odd comments, and left the hospital parking lot driving erratically, heading toward downtown.
The call about the suspicious man and vehicle was reported a few minutes before the crash.
According to scanner chatter, the watch commander requested officers examine the crash scene and interview the drivers to see if the incident was an accident or done on purpose.
