A West End Concord Halloween: Video
The haunting returned to Auburn Street in 2021 after the coronavirus pandemic made residents a bit cautious last year.
CONCORD, NH — Halloween returned to Auburn Street on Sunday, with more than a thousand trick-or-treaters hitting the neighborhood as well as other areas of the West End.
Some neighborhood streets, like Pond Place Lane, Little Pond Road, Samuel Drive, and Columbus Avenue were a bit sleepy — with homeowners willing to dole out a lot more candy than usual, so they would not have to eat it themselves.
On Auburn Street, there was a lot of merriment. The street was, like past years, closed, which allowed ghouls and goblins to galivant around. The decorations were outstanding this year including the witch and fog garage off Columbus Avenue and the loud Pennywise home.
