Which Parking Kiosk Brings in the Most Cash?
The data, from the Concord Police Department, might surprise you.
It’s another edition of You Ask, Patch Answers.
Today Patch takes a look at parking kiosks, the receipt machines placed around downtown that replaced meters a number of years ago to collect parking fees.
During the last six months, from Jan. 1, to June 30, according to Dave Florence, the point person on parking for the Concord Police Department, all the kiosks in the city brought in nearly $365,000. The parking garage kiosks brought in the most money, by far. The Durgin Block Garage brought in twice as much money as the Capitol Commons Garage in fees, according to the data.
