I don’t know how else to say this: the Republicans are flogging the deadest horse ever.
Three times tonight I’ve been treated to their thoughts on Obamacare, which Annie Kuster supports, and three times I have found myself wondering what the heck they are thinking. Obamacare is hurting, says the ad, but tens of thousands of my fellow citizens in New Hampshire now have health care. Options for health care are reduced, says the ad, but just today we learned that five more providers will sell insurance here next year, making for a total of seven providers. But some people will have to drive more than an hour to see their doctor, moans the ad.
Really? Who the hell writes this stuff? Driving from Danbury to Lebanon along Route 4 on a workday morning can take that long, but at least with Obamacare there will be medical care for all the people who now have insurance.

The Affordable Care Act is a success for New Hampshire, and Anne Kuster should be thanked for her support of it. And the GOP should work harder to find some other issue to challenge her on. Here’s a hint: it isn’t Benghazi.
