Will Bow ever man up and accept its responsibility for providing water to Bow Junction?
Bow Junction water issues periodically arise and are then treated as a Concord problem.
It is not now and never has been. For decades, it has been a Bow problem that they have consistently failed to address. Only last year, Bow was negotiating with Hookset on the sale of surplus water. Bow has plenty of water to service the junction, but chooses not to do so.
If you hold any credence in the population numbers in the data used to justify the construction of the new police station, in time Concord’s population will soon be at 56,000. Also, if anyone in city hall were to suddenly wake up and start marketing the light industrially zoned land in Concord, there would be an even bigger demand for water, which, when you combine these two factors, is not currently available.

The long and short of it is Concord has zero available water to sell to Bow, full stop.
If the water Jeannie were to twitch her nose, only then would water be available to Bow. The city council will be setting its priorities on Thursday night. Giving water to the junction should not be one of them. On the other hand, producing an affordable FY2027 budget should be, but won’t.
