Winter Storm Warning Issued For NH: Up To 12-Inches Of Snow
Breaking: Beginning on Wednesday morning, expect heavy precipitation, difficult commutes, as well as snow and ice accumulations.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service has updated its storm information to a “winter storm warning,” according to alerts online. The updated alert was issued at just after 3 p.m. on Feb. 6, 2018. The alert covers the entire state of New Hampshire.
“A fast moving system is expected to spread snow rapidly across region Wednesday morning,” the alert stated. “The snow will become heavy at times Wednesday afternoon and evening before ending late. Over southeast New Hampshire and parts of the immediate coast of Maine a mix of sleet and rain may briefly occur keeping some snowfall amounts lower.”
The storm is expected to start around 8 a.m. in the western part of the state and stop around 11 p.m. on Wednesday. The morning commute is expected to be OK for most travelers but plan on “difficult travel conditions” during the evening commute.

Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times, forecasters stated.
Snow accumulations are expected to be somewhere between 8 and 11 inches – including a light glaze of ice accumulation.
