Winter Storm Watch: Up To 10 Inches Of Snow Coming To NH
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook this afternoon about a fast moving storm heading to the area on Wednesday.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service issued both hazardous weather outlook and winter storm watch alerts this afternoon warning of a storm heading to the Granite State this week. A fast moving storm, according to an alert on Feb. 5, 2018, is expected to drop as much as 10 inches of snow on parts of the state beginning on Monday morning. The storm is expected to end late Wednesday night, according to the alerts.
“A fast moving system is expected to spread snow rapidly across region Wednesday morning,” the alert noted. “The snow may become heavy at times Wednesday afternoon and night before ending late. Over southeast New Hampshire and parts of the immediate coast of Maine a mix of sleet and rain may briefly occur keeping some snowfall amounts lower.”
Plan on “difficult travel conditions,” including on Wednesday night, with “significant reductions in visibility are possible.” Total snow accumulations of between 7 and 10 inches is expected.

The system will exit into the Northeast late Wednesday night with clearing expected in its wake, the alert noted. The alert covers the entire state of New Hampshire.
