Wintry Mix, Sleet, Freezing Rain, Slippery Commutes On Friday, Monday

CONCORD, NH — Expect some slippery roads during commutes on Friday and Monday as a wintery mix of freezing rain, snow, sleet, and rain heads into New Hampshire.

A “hazardous weather outlook” was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday morning, warning of a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain in central and southern New Hampshire.

During Friday’s overnight hours, rain and freezing rain were expected, with lows in the mid-30s. The rain, possibly mixed with sleet, will continue Friday morning and afternoon. Rain showers were expected in the evening with a mix of snow.

On Saturday, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 30s.

Rain and snow are expected to return on Sunday morning and evening, with snow continuing into Monday through the early afternoon.
