A woman was accused of stabbing cars with a knife in the parking lot of the Meadowbrook Apartments Wednesday; she was arrested at Frekey's.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police arrested a woman on Wednesday who was accused of stabbing cars with a knife in the parking lot of an apartment building on Fisherville Road.

Around 3:45 p.m., police dispatch received a complaint from a woman accusing another woman of stabbing at cars with a knife and damaging them. The suspect was described as white with blond hair and wearing shorts, a light pink sweatshirt, and red high-heeled shoes.

Dispatch said a knife was still sticking out of the Toyota Camry parked in the lot of the Meadowbrook Apartments, according to a witness.

One officer was sent to the scene while other officers, getting out of roll call, were sent later. When the first officer arrived, the suspect had left the area.

One of the officers said he may have seen the woman jaywalking on Fisherville Road near Dunkin’ Donuts earlier in the day. The complainant knew the woman due to her milling around the area but did not know her last name. She believed the woman was homeless and in her early 20s. She said she did not want to press charges, but the watch commander said the suspect would be arrested when she was found.

The officer also stated hair was on the ground near one of the cars.

After taking statements from the victim, officers fanned out, checking other apartment complexes, including different parts of the Meadowbrook complex and Penacook Place, and homeless camps in the area during the next 30 minutes. Believing the suspect may have been hiding at Building 86 of the Meadowbrook, officers returned to the complex and searched the building. Having no luck, they then searched Building 90.

Just before 4:30 p.m., police dispatch received a call from Frekey’s Dairy Freeze reporting a woman on the ground in the front area of the business. The woman matched the description of the suspect. Officers arrived and the woman began screaming and crying. She was then arrested.
